This professional-grade 12W/m COB Dotless RGB LED Strip provides smooth, continuous colour-changing illumination without the visible LED dots normally associated with traditional RGB LED strips.

Featuring 672 LEDs per metre, the high-density COB design allows you to create a wide range of colours by mixing Red, Green and Blue (RGB). When connected to a compatible RGB controller, you can select colours, adjust brightness and create colour-changing effects using compatible remote, app or smart control options.

Available in two versions: a slim 10mm IP20 bare PCB for dry indoor applications, or a 12mm IP65 silicone-sleeved version for installations requiring additional protection.

Available in 5m and 10m reels, the strip operates at 24V DC and is ideal for colour-changing feature lighting, cabinetry, shelving, coving, bars, entertainment spaces and architectural accent lighting.

Product Specifications

RGB Colour-Changing Lighting

RGB technology combines Red, Green and Blue light channels to create a wide range of colours from one LED strip.

With a compatible RGB controller, you can:

• Select from a wide range of colours

• Adjust the brightness

• Create colour-changing effects

• Control the lighting using compatible remote, app or smart control options

The strip can also mix the red, green and blue channels to produce an approximate white light.

However, this is an RGB strip and does not contain a dedicated white LED channel. If high-quality white illumination is an important part of your project, an RGBW or dedicated white LED strip may be more suitable.

Dotless COB Illumination

Featuring 672 LEDs per metre, the high-density COB construction produces a much smoother and more continuous lighting effect than conventional RGB LED tape.

The result is a clean, dotless appearance that is particularly effective for visible architectural details, feature lighting, shelving, coving and decorative installations.

RGB Control & Dimming

To select colours and control the strip, a compatible 24V RGB controller is required.

Once connected to a suitable RGB controller, you can control:

• Colour selection

• Brightness

• Colour-changing effects

• Compatible remote control

• Compatible app / smart control

IP20 – 10mm Bare PCB

The IP20 version uses a slim 10mm bare PCB without a protective sleeve.

It is intended for dry indoor applications only and is particularly suitable for cabinetry, shelving, coving and other protected installations.

Because there is no protective waterproof layer, additional care should be taken when handling and installing the strip to avoid damaging the PCB or LED components.

We recommend installation within a suitable Uno Lighting aluminium profile for improved protection, heat management and a professional finished appearance.

IP65 – 12mm Silicone-Sleeved Version

The IP65 version is 12mm wide and enclosed within a protective silicone sleeve, providing additional protection compared with the bare IP20 version.

This makes it suitable for installations requiring increased protection against moisture and physical contact.

If the IP65 strip is cut, the newly exposed end must be appropriately resealed where IP65 protection needs to be maintained.

Cutting

The strip has a 31mm cutting interval and should only be cut at the designated cutting points.

Always ensure the strip is cut accurately at the marked position to avoid damaging the electrical circuit.

For the IP65 silicone-sleeved version, any newly exposed end must be appropriately resealed where IP65 protection needs to be maintained.

Maximum Run Length

For reliable performance, the recommended maximum continuous powered lengths are:

The 5m reel is supplied with a power cable at one end.

The 10m reel is supplied with power cables at both ends and should be powered from both ends when operating the complete 10m length.

Driver Requirements

This LED strip operates at 24V DC and must never be connected directly to 230V mains electricity.

A suitable 24V constant-voltage LED driver is required and is sold separately.

We recommend allowing at least a 20% driver capacity buffer above the calculated LED strip load.

At 12W/m:

A full 5m reel has a 60W load, requiring a minimum calculated driver capacity of 72W.

A full 10m reel has a 120W load, requiring a minimum calculated driver capacity of 144W, and the complete 10m run should be powered from both ends.

Please remember that an RGB controller is also required to select colours, adjust brightness and use colour-changing functions.

Installation Guidance

Handle the LED strip carefully during installation. Avoid excessive bending, twisting, pulling or physical pressure, as this can damage the PCB or internal components.

The IP20 version has no protective sleeve, so particular care should be taken during installation.

The IP65 version has a protective silicone sleeve. If it is cut or modified, any newly exposed end must be appropriately resealed where IP65 protection needs to be maintained.

We recommend using a suitable Uno Lighting aluminium profile to provide physical protection, assist with heat management and create a professional finished installation.

Warranty

This LED strip is supplied with a 2-year standard warranty.

The warranty is extended to 3 years when purchased and installed with a suitable Uno Lighting aluminium profile, helping provide appropriate heat management, physical protection and long-term performance.

Physical damage caused by incorrect handling, cutting, bending or installation is not considered a product manufacturing defect.
