8W/m Dotless Neon LED Strip – 3000K / 4000K – 50m Reel – 24V – 12mm – IP67 - Uno Lighting

This professional-grade 8W/m COB Dotless Neon LED Strip is supplied on a 50-metre reel, providing a practical solution for larger indoor and outdoor architectural lighting projects.

Featuring 324 LEDs per metre with a diffused milky opal cover, the strip produces smooth, seamless and dot-free linear illumination without visible individual LED points.

Available in 3000K Warm White and 4000K Cool White, with CRI 90 for excellent colour quality. The 3000K version delivers approximately 480 lumens per metre, while the 4000K version delivers approximately 520 lumens per metre.

The strip operates at 24V DC, supports compatible PWM dimming and features a slim 12mm wide, top-bend IP67 Neon construction. The 50m factory reel is supplied sealed at both ends with 200mm power cables at both ends.

Colour Temperature & Light Output

3000K Warm White provides a warmer and softer appearance, making it particularly suitable for residential exteriors, landscaping, hospitality and architectural features.

4000K Cool White provides a cleaner, more contemporary appearance and is well suited to modern exterior architecture, pathways and commercial applications.

Low-Profile Dotless Neon Illumination

The combination of 324 LEDs per metre, COB technology and the diffused milky opal cover creates a smooth and continuous lighting effect without visible individual LED points.

The slim 12mm-wide Neon construction is designed for top-bend applications, providing a clean linear lighting effect for architectural details, landscaping, pathways, exterior features and other continuous lighting applications.

The bending direction must be observed during installation. Avoid twisting, lateral bending or bending beyond the permitted bending radius.

Long Run Performance

This 24V Neon strip is designed for longer continuous installations.

The 50m reel is supplied with 200mm power cables at both ends, allowing flexibility when planning the power arrangement.

Important: The 50m reel is supplied as a bulk reel and must not be operated as one continuous 50m powered run.

The maximum recommended continuous powered length is 20m from one end or 40m when correctly powered from both ends.

For installations requiring the complete 50m reel, the strip must be divided and powered in appropriately sized sections.

Driver Requirements

This LED strip operates at 24V DC and must never be connected directly to 230V mains electricity.

A suitable 24V constant-voltage LED driver is required and is sold separately.

The driver capacity should be calculated according to the actual length of strip being powered. We recommend allowing at least a 20% driver capacity buffer above the calculated LED strip load.

At 8W/m:

For example, a 10m installation would normally require a suitably rated 100W or higher 24V constant-voltage driver, while a 20m installation requires at least 192W calculated capacity, making a suitably rated 200W or higher driver appropriate.

For longer installations and both-end powered configurations, the driver capacity and power distribution arrangement must be appropriately specified for the total connected load.

The strip supports PWM dimming when used with a compatible 24V dimmable driver or controller.

IP67 Waterproof Protection

The Neon strip features an IP67 waterproof construction and is suitable for appropriate indoor and outdoor applications.

The factory 50m reel is supplied sealed at both ends.

If the strip is cut, the factory waterproof seal is broken at the newly exposed end.

Every newly cut end must be correctly resealed using the appropriate end cap and suitable waterproof glue/sealant to restore and maintain the waterproof protection.

Failure to correctly seal a cut end may allow moisture or water to enter the strip and can result in product failure.

Do not assume a cut section remains IP67 simply because the original reel was supplied as IP67. Waterproof protection depends on every cut end and connection being correctly resealed.

Cutting & Installation

The strip has a 56mm cutting interval and should only be cut at the designated cutting points.

After cutting, the newly exposed end must be correctly fitted with an appropriate end cap and waterproof glue/sealant before being used in an environment requiring IP protection.

Handle the Neon strip carefully during installation. Excessive twisting, sharp bending, stretching or physical pressure can damage the internal circuit or waterproof construction.

The strip is designed as a top-bend Neon, so it should only be bent in the intended direction and within an appropriate bending radius.

We recommend using a suitable mounting profile or fixing system to support the strip and achieve a professional installation.

Warranty

This LED strip is supplied with a 2-year standard warranty.

The warranty is extended to 3 years when purchased and installed with a suitable Uno Lighting aluminium profile, helping provide appropriate support, protection and long-term performance.

Physical damage caused by incorrect bending, twisting, cutting, installation or failure to correctly waterproof cut sections is not considered a product manufacturing defect.
